It appears that the Desktop Connector does work with a junction link. I did this and it worked:
- Quit Autodesk Desktop Connector from its tray icon menu.
- Move (Cut and paste) the ACCDocs folder from your user profile directory (%USERPROFILE%\ACCDocs) to the D drive (D:\ACCDocs) or where ever you'd like it. (Not sure how it would work on a network drive, but that could be interesting to try.)
- Open a command prompt and create a junction link using this command:
mklink /J %USERPROFILE%\ACCDocs D:\ACCDocs
- Start Autodesk Desktop Connector.
This seems to be allowing me to download and upload folders to that location now. I am definitely no IT guru, so to give credit where credit is greatly due, I got this info from Christine at boxifier.com.
