Every time the PC is restarted and the desktop app is opened it always starts with the same message even though the update is installed. I get around this message by going to my downloads and re-opening the latest update Autodesk_Desktop_App_Bootstrap.exe which clears the below message. But after a computer reboot the message re-appears.

Auto-update does not work at my company as an Admin account is required to install the updates. (I am an admin so I personally do have rights to install).

Uninstall ADA

OR

allow automatic updates, you get to choose from those two options, not much else is available

I've already tried uninstall and re-install.
The problem still persists.

I don't have an option to turn off the Auto update as this is ticked when I open ADA and it is automatically trying to download, but the download never happens so the screen shot shown never closes until I manually run the update.

On the previous message I unticked it but I cannot close the download update window so i'm unable to get to any updates using ADA.

It's broken then, uninstall it forever.
OR... you probably need a new OS log-in or a PC reimage to match one that is not having any issues in your office.

FWIW We all can get our updates anytime we want all the time from our Autodesk Accounts Page here without ever using ADA https://manage.autodesk.com/products/updates

Good luck.
