The Desktop app presents features I never need. How to I say "Never ask me this again"?
I do not need the German, Japanese, UK, Brazilian, Chinese, Czech, French, Italia, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Greece and Finland Content for Revit 2022.
It sits there the whole time and I can't dismiss it or get rid of it.

That's easy. Uninstall it, and go to https://manage.autodesk.com when you want to find updates, downloads.

You have misunderstood the question. I don't want to install it in the first place. I never want to. I want to remove it from the list of available updates.

and you have unfortunately, misunderstood my reply.

Uninstall the "Desktop App" - you don't need it.

This app has limited abilities to customize: what you are asking for is asked several times a week with no real answers, just half-baked workarounds.

Help yourself with a search of the forum for things to try, they may or may not work for long before breaking again.

>>>....I don't want to install it in the first place. I never want to...<<<
Then you could do what the very experience CAD Manager above is telling you, dump this app, since you don't want to use it as is, why have it ever present, just to annoy you?

I would rather not uninstall the app.  I still want to see new updates but then I want to choose updates to reject forever like a German version, which is no use to me.  There should be an option to "Never ask me about this one again".  Does Autodesk even monitor this forum?

Even if Autodesk DID monitor this discussion forum, this is not the proper location for "wishes" or complaint about a product. Some products have a "Ideas" forum. and for those that don't you can express your ideas here: Product Feedback.

Years ago, in a previous life of this app, there was an option on each item to dismiss it. I too, would like to have it still run, but to be able to turn off what I don't need or want to be reminded of.
