Installing Updates when Installing Products

ADA now has the ability to install updates when installing products.  Relatively new function, see image. My question is: Does this only work when installing the product from ADA, or will it work when I install a product

from my normal deployments?

Yes, it applicable for Autodesk desktop app only.
