A quick little tip for those who don't know:
When working with multiple layouts it can be quite tedious to right click > move or copy > create a copy...
if you use this method you'll be happy to know that holding CTRL (Control) on your current layout and dragging it left/right will create a copy for you quick and easy!
CTRL has many other applications;
For example when editing a block with multiple attributes, holding CTRL and double clicking will allow you to edit your attribute in place without the annoying pop-up screen!
Thanks @Brock_Olly such a simple thing to do and makes you tons more productive
oh man, the ctrl double click is slick. I have a editing tool that works on text, mtext, dimensions, atts under one key-in "D", but for those without that, much better than DDATTE dialog!
Another control key trick for attributes - hold down CTRL and left click an attribute and you can adjust its properties independently of the rest of the block it's in. You can build a selection set of just attributes and move them around as a group. I do this in AutoCAD Electrical quite a bit because sometimes the attributes in the symbol get in the way of other things.
Making Multiple Copies With Grips using the Ctrl key remembers displacement for Move or Rotate.
