Automated command to help you save time in checking the drawings

Question:- Tired of checking the drawings each and every time from Scratch?

Answer:- Wondering why you have to check the drawings prepared/revised by your collogues/co-workers each and every time? 

Here is a Command called Compare command. With the help of this command, you can automate the task of checking all the revised/updated drawings based on either your or the customers comments that you assigned to your collogues/co-workers.

Open the Latest version of the file and type Compare, and select the previous revision. And AutoCAD will automatically highlight the changes made in the drawing.

Sometimes we tend to miss out some changes that were not supposed to have been made, but this solves that too.

NOTE:- You need AutoCAD 2019+ Version to be able to use this feature.

We still add revision marks and clouds to all the drawings. The reason is we don't share the current and latest versions of Autocad files to anyone. We only share the PDF or Hard copies. And for anyone not having Autocad, it's difficult to tell where the changes have happened.

Like customers don't have Autocad usually. They ask for PDF files. And shops have Hard copies. So we still add Revision marks and clouds.

I love that feature too @rushabhthakkar_910! I also like the option of saving the comparison to a 3rd drawing in case you have to go back to it.
