Autodesk needs to stop sending emails, with direct download links of products, when license have been assigned to them. The company's IT policies require management and authorization of all downloads and maintains consistent versioning throughout the company. Often times company is not on the latest version of Autodesk products. However, when Autodesk sends email with download links this is always for the latest version. This causes numerous versions to be installed within the company and excessive disruption in business functions when we have to uninstall/reinstall the company approved version of software.
The only email that should be sent by Autodesk, and this should come via our company's Autodesk Customer Portal, is notification that license was assigned and confirmation of account creation.
