Simple question: how did this issue carry over from the Autodesk Desktop App to Autodesk Access?
Latest annual release is installed, and Autodesk Access prompts me to install an update for the previous one.
I like to keep my system up to date, so as soon as that little red dot in the bottom right corner of the screen shows up, I'm updating whatever that has an update for it. I don't neccesarily do much more than looking at the icon and hitting the update button at this point, which makes it quite annoying when updates I don't need, for products I've uninstalled, or never opted to install in the first place, start showing up. To be fair, Autodesk Desktop App was comparatively worse as it had two-three more entries in the list than what Autodesk Access has, but still...
Peculiar enough this problem appears to be closely related to AutoCAD, as every entry of this kind that I've ever seen over the past couple of years has in some way or another been related to AutoCAD directly or to some add-in the AutoCAD installer never asks if I want installed in the first place...
I'm not sure if the fault lies with one or more Autodesk products, or if it's an inherent issue with Windows 11 not entirely removing all of the registry entries when uninstalling an Autodesk product, so if anyone have figured this out and have found a solution, I'm greatful to hear about it.
