Desktop app not updating to Access

OK so we are now at the 18th of march and none of my ADA have been able to update to Access.

Even tried downloading from the provided link in the email from early March and noting comes in.

Some of my ADA is still working, but often am getting failed to download.

How are we supposed to get this? IF ADA was still working i would wait given the feedback so far. But updates there are not working either. Guess I have to dig into the subscription page and download them myself.

If we do that will Access know they are there? How does it know what was installed outside of its system?

You can download it from official website, here: https://www.autodesk.com/products/autodesk-access/

As for functionality, we need to wait some time until it becomes what its supposed to be.

We are holding the ADA update for a short time as we progressively roll out to all users.  Feel free to download from the link @Bojan-Cabradi shared.

If you have updates available for the installed products on your device, you should see them listed.  You will not see updates for a product you don't have installed.  You will still need to get those from Product Updates on Account.

Why is this half-baked app getting pushed out already? I really don't want to have to wade through a new app that's not working -- I have enough important stuff to work on.

Also, I noticed in the FAQ that Autodesk "we don't believe it's necessary to uninstall". That should be a decision left to your customers. And even if you've decided that you don't want us to uninstall it, you should still list it like a standard program that's installed so that administrators can tell what computers have it installed.

And finally, Autodesk Desktop App was easy enough to prevent from running by just deleting it from the Run section of the registry. Please post the instructions for stopping Autodesk Access from running so that I don't have to do that research on my own. I know that I can stop users from installing their own updates with a registry key sent to each users' profile, but there's not point in notifying a user that there's an update when they can't install it. That just creates more work for administrators, responding to questions and requests.

Thank your for your attention to this. Hopefully, you can rectify some of these issues quickly. And, please, please, don't keep pushing this app out to customers until it's ready to be fully used.

Thanks,
Mike

BTW I totally agree with your general sentiment.
