Warning for Google Drive -users

Something went terribly wrong with this app and I have to warn you. Here's what happened. I connected my Google Drive account to the app. I noticed that in the folder options there was a feature called "disconnect". I used it because I only wanted to see the CAD-folders in the folder view so it would be easier to use. It says disconnect but what it really does? It permanently deletes the folder from Google Drive. What this means is that you cannot recover the files from Google Drive trash. I was lucky that I found the data on my computers recycle bin. I find it unbeliveable that such feature has been developed! No warnings saying "Are you sure you want to delete the folder". How should one know that "disconnect" actually means "permanently delete" ? Almost 33Gb of very important data almost disappeared on my work computers hard-drive only beacuse of this very dangerous feature that I used on my tablet.

Hi,

We are testing this feature on daily basis and we never noticed such an issue, I even tried to reproduce it now with Google drive and some more supported external storages and disconnect didn't deleted my Google drive or others external storages folders.
For further investigation on your case please contact 'feedback@autocad360.com.

Thanks,

This is most interesting. Tell me - how do you explain this answer I got yesterday? "Hi, Unfortunately thanks to your case we found a defect in our app, there was a mistake and the tittle was changed from 'delete' to 'disconnect' . Our dev team already fixed the issue and you will be able to see it in the next version Best, Tirza Ben-Ner Support Specialist at AutoCAD 360 Autodesk "

Hi

You are correct. I see the details of the representative who answered you and I will let them know it was a mistake to reply to you in that manner.

I apologize for this mishap.
