Problem Description:
Hi, everyone!
I’m facing an issue while using AutoCAD Raster Design to convert raster images (JPEG/PNG) into vector lines. The problem arises specifically when working with high-resolution images (300 DPI or above).
Here’s what happens:
- When I use the Raster to Vector Conversion tool, the process either crashes midway or produces incomplete vector lines.
- Some curved or diagonal lines from the original raster image become jagged or distorted after conversion.
- In some cases, the software displays an error: "Insufficient memory to process this operation."
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Reduced the image resolution to 150 DPI and retried the conversion (partial improvement).
- Increased my system’s virtual memory allocation to avoid memory issues.
- Ensured that my AutoCAD Raster Design is updated to the latest version.
System Specs:
- Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
- 16GB RAM, Intel i7 Processor
- AutoCAD Raster Design 2023
Has anyone else encountered similar issues? Are there any recommended settings or workarounds to ensure accurate and smooth raster-to-vector conversions?
Looking forward to your insights!
