Comando LINE não aceitar o enter pra travar

• Bom dia! 
• Quando estou usando um comando como o LINE por exemplo, no momento em que digito um valor em unidades por exemplo para uma linha, quando aperto o enter, ele não trava a linha, somente clicando com o mouse, e desta forma, não consigo colocar os valores que quero nas linhas.

clique no primeiro ponto e insira o valor desejado e o segundo ponto será criado ou use orto para linhas perpendiculares pressionando F8 e use o método anterior também

Just to clarify that you know how the LINE command works. since it's not clear to me from your description:

Are you giving it a starting point first, and then aiming the cursor in the direction you want it to go and typing in a length?  [That's the correct way, so if it's not working there is something wrong.]

Or are you, perhaps, starting the command and typing in a length before you tell it where to start?  [It doesn't work that way -- I think something would happen, but not what you expect.]

Press F9 to release the snap may be it is the problem
