Retain properties when copying Plant objects

Plant objects in a drawing need the tag number and other properties retained when copied; within the same drawing or to another drawing. It is understood the tag number will change to have a ? at the end of the tag in order to avoid tag duplication but existing properties should be retained.

An additional flag in the setup that marks a property as copy/non copy would be perfect !

Just want to mention that PLANTCOPYLINENUMBER is a new AutoCAD system variable introduced for Plant 3D 2018.1.1 update. Setting this to "ON" will allow the properties, including the tag numbers to be retained when copying parts from one drawing to another. Details included on this blog post:

When copy a object in plant 3d from one file to another in the same project some object properties are changed like layer and color .

what system variable need to be changed for resolving this ? Anyone knows ?

Plantcopylinenumber only solve line number and line layer
