Understood that this is the Plant 3D / P&ID Ideas forum but there doesn't seem to be a Navisworks Ideas forum.
Navisworks is often used for internal and client model reviews and a common request during these reviews is to take measurements to ensure adequate clearances have been provided, etc. However, the measuring tools in Navisworks do not provide snap points that correspond to AutoCAD snap points (i.e. center, quadrant, etc.). Given that Navisworks is, in many cases, essentially just reading AutoCAD files, or other files created using Autodesk products, this information must be available somewhere. It would be very useful if a feature was implemented that would allow users to effectively perform a 'Snap Override' when doing measurements in Navisworks, similar to AutoCAD functionality, where you can select which type of point you want to snap to for your measurement.
