By now Version 2022 Autodesk should allow us to make new classes in P3D. Hoe can you match up PID if they made new classes that do not exist in P3D? No being able to add new classes in P3D is horror for a lot of projects...
This was posted as an earlier idea on this board (2016). Please go vote there, too!
There's useful discussion on that thread, especially OWhiteHouse's comment: "I've been trying extensively to clean up and add to the 3D component classes. It really looks like they hard-coded the 3D classes into the Project Setup dialog..." I don't know where he was looking -- probably in an XML file.
