There does not seem to be an exclusion for the plug. I believe the plug is a custom component that was added to the spec as a MISC-COMPONENT but that is not an exclusion item to choose? I keep finding suggestions that xml edits are the way to do this. Surely I don't have to code this program to do things...?

@Dennis.Meehan ,

we had already pointed out several times in your contributions to create complete and meaningful contributions we can't guess what is really wrong with your components!

No need to get angry h-eger, I was just asking why the MISC-Component where the Plug resides is not available in the exclusion list for dimensions? I don't want a dimension to the plug on the end of a valve. I thought this was a forum to get answers?

Yes, this is a forum to get answers but first study the Autodesk forum rules and ask the questions so that all participants in this forum can quickly understand what the problem is in the post and write an answer as soon as possible.
