I have called myself searching the forums for how to do this, so if this is redundant I apologize.

I am working with Autocad Plant 3d 2016

How in the world do you turn on any of the toolbars? I opened the CUI, selected the toolbars I wanted, transferred over the toolbars and hit ok but I can not get them to show up. There seem to be no toolbars that I can right click on to turn on the ones I want.  What is going on??????

Do you mean P&ID Toolbars or your own toolbars?

There arent any P&ID ones, its all ribbon's and palettes.

I am modeling equipment in 3d and I am trying to turn on STANDARD AUTOCAD TOOLBARS like you would see in vanilla ACAD. example UCS toolbar, solids toolbar,

Before you delve into modelling your own equipment, have you played with the Equipment builder on the ribbon?

Hi,

If you want toolbars you can simply type "-toolbar" on the command line. Than "all" and "show". After that you can close them one by one and keep the wanted. Save your workspace than to remember this setting..

Yes, but that is not really what I asked is it?  Look I am not trying to be difficult, however let's just answer the question.

Steady on    In order to give a good answer (which may not be what you were originally looking for), we sometimes need additional information.

Plant3D is an AutoCAD vertical product, so the UI works just like AutoCAD.  The profile determines which CUIx files are active for Main and Enterprise, and in turn those determine which workspaces are available as well as the various UI elements.  The best way I can think of to add UI content is through the CUI editor, using it to add them to the desired workspace.  So, an additional question: are you familiar with workspaces and the CUI editor?

I understand, but if you're trying to model a pump in AutoCAD solids, there is a macro in the Equipment function to make a pump for you, so I'm just trying to make your life easier by trying to see what you want to achieve and possibly give you a better and quicker way to model inside Plant3D, rather than just using non-intelligent AutoCAD solids.
