I imported stp. files into plant 3d 2021. I used the block command, named all of them differently, then plantpartconvert and added correct ports. Each part has its own drawing. Once completed I use plant 3d spec editor. I choose to create a new component, use the custom-autocad dwg block based graphics and fill out all the information and save the item. Then I add each item to the spec I need it in. Once I open a drawing in plant 3d and select one of the new items I have added to the spec it populates in the model correctly. However as soon as I change to another part I have created and added to the spec the part shows up in the model with the block graphics of the first item I used, as do all other items i have added. The ports are correct but the image in the model is not. I tried changing all the block titles and resetting all the plantpartconvet ports and it still remains to do the same.
This is a screen shot of when I use the first item from the spec I wanted.
Then when I select and place the next item it shows the same image as the first but has the ports of the part I have selected. As shown in the screen shot below.
