Route new line tag vs Line number tag

Good day,

Attached is a screencast of my problem. Some elaboration may be required;

I am having some problems with my line number tags and especially with the properties behind it.

As seen in the screencast; when I route a new line using the first seen method ''Route new line'' and fill out my Tag it does not read out my area code in the underlaying properties.

When I first route a new pipe in ''unassigned'' and then proceed to add a line number tag it DOES read out my area code.

I do not understand why this is happening because in both options of assigning my Tag I fill in the same property type.

Regards,

Tom

@Tom_Jipping ,

this appears to be an incorrect assignment of the data to the pipeline.
But to be able to say more precisely we need the TAG configuration documented.

I hope what you meant is in shown in the screenshot below. I also tried using the ''Use Target Object's Property'' but that made no difference.

@Tom_Jipping ,

have you also correctly created the acquisition rules for your values from the P3d Line group in the Pipe Run Components and Fasteners?
This is the only way to ensure that the data is transferred from the P3d Line Group to the underlying classes via inheritance.

I did not change any existing acquisition rule, I did add one for the Area code. That is the property in my example from the screencast. Attached a screenshot of the setup.

@Tom_Jipping ,

Did you also execute the command "PLANTREFRESHACQPROPERTY" after the adjustments so that your changes are also applied to the drawings?

Good evening,

Just to give you some more information; another screencast + screenshots. This problem bothers me because it all seems like I'm assiging the same properties with both ways but still they don't give the same outcome 😞

I hope somebody can help me.
