I am trying to access a project from my home computer and am getting "Error encountered - The path is not of a legal form" error, which sounds like a config problem - how can I fix this?

I have accessed the same project from home using a different computer, so I know this is not a credentials issue.

Sounds like security case. Perhaps you have access from certain home computer with specific MAC address?

I suppose this is possible if Autodesk permits only one additional Plant 3D computer installation per account in addition to the primary installation. But I have no way of knowing that and if it is the case, how would I remove the current MAC address and add the new one (coincidentally, the current MAC address I'd need to remove is on a Mac computer).

Thanks.

I think this is question for IT quys from your company. Setting up a secured connection is very important. There is no place for any mistakes here 😃

In this case you can experiment with router settings. Look for Clone MAC address. Clone MAC address from computer that connect properly with your workstation.

Good luck.

I have the same computer now installed on a completely different router and modem, so I don't think the issue is related to the router.

The problem occurs when trying to "Open Collaboration Project" which is already existing.

I suppose the next logical step is to reinstall Plant 3D.

Reinstalling all Autodesk applications (except Desktop App) did not help. Oh well...
