Hi forum members,
Can someone please help me to figure out why production iso is failing on this piece of pipework?
I attached an pcf file amd the corresponding isoconfog.xml
If dwg is needed of anything else please let me know.
Help is appreciated
Thanks in advance
I am not allowed to upload pcf
so just unpack it
Correct the highlighted errors and try again.
Hi @DGRL,
please correct the mistakes in your pipeline!
See "IsoCreationLog.txt"
I do not see what your mistake is.
We need the 3D model to make an error correction.

Dear @h_eger

Have a question
If you delete an pipe, P3D would also delete the line number you made for it.
I tried this many times and I always see this happening.
Well I made a new line number "test" and placed every piece of this failing pipe into it.
The line number of the failing pipe IS NOT DELETED BY P3D
Do you know why?
and do you know how I can purge this?
The normal way of compress and PnPLocalDataCachePurge are not working at all
Can this because I do not have write acces to the Drive where p3d is installed?
IT also did not gave me admin rights so I am working on a very closed admin pc.
Can someone confirm this ir tell me I'm wrong?
Hi @h_eger
I took the dwg to another machine ( open admin ) loaded the dwg into an new project and tuned it a little and the isometrics are generated just fine.
No errors at all.
It is the machine I do this project on that is corrupt.
I cant find any other reason why this machine is failing and my 7 years old laptop is generating just fine ( it only takes a minute longer lol )
See this as solved.
Thanks for the fast help and push in the back
PS HOW CAN I DELETE AN PREVIOUS POST OR ATTACHMENT
THE DWG NEEDS TO BE REMOVED
Hi @DGRL,
we probably do not.
This is probably only the forum administrators.
No idea how we can contact the administrators.

I had this problem except neither Quick or Production would work.
I traced back to some work i did yesterday on an XRef where I changed a line number on a section of pipe to Unassigned.
To test I simply removed the XRef from the project temporarily and viola, so all I need to do is correct (or replace) the small pipe run, to be exact an imperial elbow had snuck its way into the model and stopped the whole plant model from being able to produce any isometrics. Quite bazaar
I hope this helps someone else as no one seems to be able to offer much assistance when this strangely happens.
Hi @concadman,
It is very hard to help if we can not reproduce the error.
As soon as we get the project or a drawing we can possibly reproduce the error and also offer a solution.

You can clear out these left over pipe numbers by doing a project audit. All other users must be out of the project. Right-click on the Project Name in your project manager and select "audit project". Additionally you can right-click again and select "compress database and purge history.
Thanks for the info
At this moment we are experiencing weird behavior of Plant 3D
I still have some "ghost pipes" showing on iso.
I fix this and a few hours later the "ghost pipes" are back.
There is something going on with saving or at least updating the database
This is an SQLite project and saved on a network.
I assume network issues.
We have had issues with "ghost pipes" as well. Most often it is because someone routed pipe in a model other than the main piping model, like in an equipment model.
If the ghost pipes show up under a line number in the data manager, you can use the search function (magnifying glass) to open the model that these parts are in and delete them,
Thanks for the info
Our case is slightly different
I am the only person new in this company and doinf there first project ever.
I made the dwg and routed all the piping
What we have is this
I made an 6" pipe called P-010 and connected an weldolet on it
From there I routed an 1" pipe called 1"-ss
Every time when we generate an iso of pipe 10 the 1" pipe is also showing up ( even on the bom )
How to fix this issue?
We cant update to 2017 or 2018 yet but have to deliver Isometrics
Hi DGRL,
I'll try a suggestion.
Try switching off every layer except the layer of the pipe you want to create the isometric of.
Can you see any very small red 'nodes' just floating not attached to any part? If so, select the node and see what the properties are of the node.
If the node doesn't belong, delete it.
