Plant 3D - equipment .peqs layer

when you define an equimpnet in plant3d (all versions) it stays on the active layer.

The equipment is built up of several layers; I should manage them into ortho drawings, setting to 1 or 0 layer visibility with EDIT VIEW according to the needs.

is there the way to let user managing layers on equipment? and not having just 1 layer used?

Unfortunately it is not possible to manage layers with a block that has been converted to Plant 3D Equipment.

anyway, i  wrong. i did some tests using version plant 2017 and it is al least possible to switch on and off layers inside 3d file with equipment.

within versione 2019 it is not possible anymore. Why?

Hi @mauro.spadaro,

From my test, the only difference is that in 2019 you need to regen the drawing for the layer display to update and for the equipment sub layer to switch off.

In all versions when an ortho is created any sub layers in the equipment that are off or frozen are still included in the ortho.

Hi Dan,

i'm using Plant Update 1 with Autocad 2019 and the result is different from yours.

I cannot switch sublayer off withn equipment

regen command makes same negative results.

why I got a different  behaviour from yours?
