Plant 3D - Bolt Length Problem (length not the same)

Hi Experts,

I have issues with different bolt lengths on Flange-Flange and Flange-Valve connection. Both flange thickness values of Flange and Valve were the same (23.876mm). The currently, wafer bolts rounding was set to 10, it seems not working. How to configure isometric generation to round the calculated bolt length to nearest 5 or 10mm. I tried setting default Metric Bolt Length mapping but seems not working too. (See screenshot below)

Can someone share some guidelines on how to resolve this. I tried reading some other threads but no luck. I'm using Version 2019.

What are the bolt lengths in the model?

Drawing at very high coordinated can be an issue due to mathematical rounding errors. Could that be the issue here?

Hi Dan,

You are right. The bolt lengths are 88.9 and 90. (see screen shot). Is their any way to fix this rounding issue?

Hi @Anonymous,

Does deleting and reconnecting result in the same incorrect length?

If it is a one of issue the easiest fix is probably manually updating the length in the properties palette.
