Plant 2014 Extensions

I've downloaded the extensions 1 and 2 for Plant 2014 and I'm getting these messages:

window 1.PNG

So I go ahead and look at my liscense and it looks like SP1 had been installed.

window 2.PNG

So it appears that our software is the ulimate design suite and I guess the file structure is so different that extension 1 and 2 can't figure it out and won't install.

Anybody have any workarounds? This is much appreciated, as I need to be able to route pipe that features fixed pipe lengths.

thanks,

viet

the only thing i can think of is was the right language downloaded?

the language version must match the Plant 3d 2014 install

You might have a service pack installed that was released after the extension. It could easily be a version mismatch.

I've still been having a heck of a time trying to install the extensions. I was able to hack it to work on my computer, but cannot replicate on anyone elses workstation. Even with a fresh install, it still comes up with those errors.

In what order should we install the extensions? I understand that SP1 is not necessary, as its covered in extension 2 already.

Its been a very frustrating experience!

After trying to install the extension to multiple workstations at work, i've found out that you have to uninstall extension 1 and the Service Packs in order for Extension 2 to work.

Extension 2 has all the same updates as ex1 and the updates, so you'll get them back when extension 2 is installed.

Unfortunately, once you install extension 2, Autocad will reset all your settings. Its a minor annoyance, but a noteworthy one still.
