Pipe Support osnap

Issue: Can't snap to endpoint, center and other object snap on Plant 3D pipe suport to move it. No water droplets. Only Node snap is available. It's annoying and makes proper pipe suport alignment much harder.

Workaround: EXPLODE support > measure DIST distance difference > UNDO > MOVE

There would be no workaround needed if osnaps would work normally.

Is it a feature or failure?

Dear @Slawomir_,

this is not a bug this is standard on Plant 3D Pipe Supports.
About the point filter function, I have no problem.

Dear @h_eger,

Thanks for prompt reply. It's not about point filters, which are helpful feature. Let's consider this example: I need to move existing pipe shoe along horizontal pipe about half of shoe length. Normally I would grab it's center (node osnap in this case), enter .x press side of shoe to specify X value. Next press again suport node at it's initial position. This works great for 2D and 3D shapes, but not for Plant 3D pipe supports because only allowed snap point is Node.

Perhaps there is variable to "turn on/off snapping to pipe supports"? Just like PDFOSNAP and so on.

Even DIST command can't snap to Endpoint, Midpoint and so on. Plant 3D doesn't allow me to just measure distance from  bottom of shoe to for example steel beam.

Osnaps should work on pipe supports, no doubt.

Thank You for screencast. This is fine as long as You want only distance from node osnap (this is only one working for pipe suport in my case) to top of steel.

Can You snap to other osnaps like Endpoint etc. to pipe support? I can't.

Dear @Slawomir_,

But it works.
The support has 2 points once the insertion point at the pipe and the second is the point for the height at the bottom of the support. I also picked up this point in the screencast.

Thanks for your answer. It's a pity that only Node osnap is allowed. For example it's impossible to measure how far is from shoe to the edge of the beam (see picture below). It's a significant lack.

Only Node osnap is available for snapping to pipe supports, so workaround mentioned in first post is still up to date. Unfortunately.

Dear @Slawomir_,

it is correct that only the two node points in the support functions.
All other snap points are HC (hardcoded) deactivated.
