Pipe routing error

I am not sure exactly how to explain this issue. When routing a pipe, I connect to the node I want to connect to, but it does not connect and instead attaches to the bottom of the pipe.

In addition, when routing any pipe on this drawing, The previous line that i had just made before clicking disappears. this occurs on all UCS settings and layers, but it only started happening after moving some components to a new layer. Was there some setting I accidentally toggled?

Hi,

Have you checked the setting for your routing line and offsets?

Make sure it's set to COP with offsets set to 0.

Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you, this helped with the pipe alignment but not the disappearing segments after I click to finish a line.

Hi @Anonymous

Just an idea:

Maybe the layer which you have changed to is turned off? or is frozen?

It could also be, that you are drawing in a turned-off layer. Maybe turn all layers on in your drawing and try again...

Also, I wouldn't change the layer of a part... I would choose a new Linenumbertag for this part, because when you change the layer manually, you will destroy the Plant3D intelligence.

Usually, Plant3D creates his own layer for parts and pipes based on the line number tag.

Hope it helps anyway

Regards,

Daniel
