P3D: Update DB Field in SQL - Force Dynamic Update of Cache

What options are available to trigger the user's cache to update?  We have been experimenting with writing text to custom component properties through SQL but in order to see the changes reflected the user has to log out, clear their cache and reload.

Is there a way to bypass/streamline those steps so the user gets the updated information in real time?  Or perhaps a different approach altogether that would be more appropriate?

We're trying to trigger another application to populate the properties on command.

Dear @jacob.hunsinger1 ,

it gets a bit tricky with the standard.
PLANTXDBMANAGER is a solution.
Or PlantLink is an external solution that does not know this problem. Just save once and the data is updated.

@jacob.hunsinger1 have you figured out how to force the update in real-time or close?  We would love this functionality.  I was wondering if you change the project local cache as opposed to changing the mssql database entry, would it update the live drawing data & the database?
