P&ID - Remove a gap from a combined two line segments

Hello everyone,

I have a section of piping where I have two line segments. I combined them into one so that it appears as one in the data manager. Yet, the gap remains and it's counting my valve in the "To" and "From". I want to combine them so that the valve is inserted in line and not in the break between segments,

I tried with the remove gap but it doesn't seem to work,

@eblanc8XYRM ,

In image 1, you can only see that the valve on the right is connected with a connection point.
In image 2, I can see the gap, but because of how Plant 3D P&ID handles the system, you can't tell.

Have you tried connecting the two segments with the Join command from the Schematic Line Edit context menu? Please merge the two lines first so that a connection point is visible.

Hi @h_eger,

That did it! Although I had to delete the valve for it to work, otherwise I couldn't merge the two lines and the join command wouldn't do anything. Not the best approach but at least is doable,

Thanks for the help!
