P&ID Annotation Location/Offset Problem

Hello,

I am trying to alter the Project Setup for the ACC project I am working on, and the changes only apply temporarily.

I have a custom Annotation that applies for all Engineering Items. My goal is to have the annotation be auto inserted BELOW the component. I have tried clicking "Edit Block" and moving the attributes down and I have also tried clicking "Edit Annotation" and setting the "Offset Y" to -7.5.

After applying the settings, the correct annotation is auto inserted (below the component). When I create a new drawing within the project, the annotation is auto inserted above the component. The settings have not changed in Project Setup, but seem to always revert to placing the annotation above the component.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

after editing the project setup, do you check in the entire project?
For changes to the projectsymbolstyle.dwg or isoconfig.xml you need to change your workflow sleightly.

If your project is still being setup, maybe it is easier to set it correctly local and then upload the entire local project to ACC?

I have tried checking in the entire project. When I check out drawings the annotation is above the component.

The settings just seem to only apply for the drawing that is open as the settings are adjusted.
