P&ID 2017 Migration

I have several drawings in AutoCAD P&ID 2017 in a project. When I try to bring a project over it says it migrates properly but then sends in errors about .dxe files not found along with data manager claiming it can't be found. When I let the drawing finish loading the information does come up in data manager and it would be fine but it won't load the customization to the tool pallets as all the PIP pallets have been adjusted to our company standards. Even additional pallets cannot be seen to be loaded. When I try to go into the project set up I get the error "Unhanded exception has occurred in a component of your application...  Could not find ...\PIDTo3dClassMapping.xml" and cannot continue past it as all that does is close the error pop-up. 
Any help would be appreciated.

If you could supply some screen shots of errors, information about what product versions you're using, and what versions you're trying to migrate to it'd be appreciated. 

• You can find product version by typing in ABOUT on the command line and hitting enter.

In regards to the project setup issue:

Is the above message what you're receiving? If so, all you have to do is copy in a new PIDto3DClassMappingXML to the project directory.

P&ID projects in earlier versions don't have this file in the project directory, that's why you're being prompted with the error message. You can grab this file from any project created in the new version of Plant 3D you're trying to migrate to. 

• Ex.)  Navigating to: C:\Users\*user logged in*\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2018\R22.0\enu\SampleProjects\SampleProject 

This would get you to the project directory of the Sample Project of the 2018 version of Plant 3D. All you would have to do is copy the PIDto3DClassMapping XML file from this location, to the location of where your project directory is saved. From there, you should be able to access project setup. If you're migrating to the 2019 version, you would follow the location mentioned above and select the "AutoCAD Plant 3D 2019" instead.
