Orthographic Drawing with 3d solid view

Hello everyone, We have generated an orthographic drawing from our plant model and we want to add one more view but in different view style, not wireframe but hidden solid. In Inventor it is possible to do so, but is there a way to do it in plant 3d ? I am posting also a picture with a sample from inventor and plant 3d. Hope that someone has a solution ! Thank you !

Only by creating a traditional xref'd model viewport...

Thank you phwatso for your solution, I tried your suggestion and it worked.

But i need to be more specific in what we are trying to do.

Some clients request 3d spool drawings and not isometrics. I tried to work my way around this issue by hiding part of our routing and kept  only our needed spool piece and then i created an ortho drawing, this is the reason i wanted to add a 3d view in our drawing. with your solution it is possible to do so but it will take a huge amount of time to do this for each spool piece.

Witch actually describes exactly want I want to do. But as you can see this feature is not available at the moment.

My Big questions now are

Is there a way o export plant 3d spool to inventor and create the drawings there ?

If it is possible will the table of bill of materials work ?

is there any other way to produce a drawing like the one bellow in Plant 3d ?

The only way I can think to do this would be to give each spool piece a separate line number. You can then export to AutoCAD the spool to create a solid which can be xref'd into a drawing. You can then also create a BOM for that spool from the piping isometric by ticking the BOM export table option under the Advanced option.

This may be a workaround for now but if you cut a ISO view of the model place a BOM on the Ortho with the ISO view and a plan view.

You will have to annotate it manually thou.

When you edit the Ortho View, there is a button at the top that says something like "Hidden Line, No Hidden Line, Hidden Line Piping" or something similar.

If you say No Hidden Line you should get close to what you want

Am thinking of changing from Trimble to Plant 3D and am wondering if 2017 version will create a hidden, shaded or rendered spool drawing with BOM and tags.  Thank you
