Manufacturers model has a flaw ONLY when it is in a 2d ortho.
When I explode the 2d ortho block the 'point' is a portion of an ellipse. Capture image shows the three points. Blue circles are not exploded. Red circle is the block exploded highlighting the ellipse.\
Recap of screencast.
I imported a manufacturers model ( step file ) into Inventor, then exported it as a DWG, Also directly into P3D.
Zoomed extents - nothing extra in the 3d models. Exploded them to solids and surfaces.
Ellipses remain. Tried deleting some surfaces and mirroring - ended up with a second ellipse...
Yes I can just explode the 2d ortho model and delete the ellipses - but I can't figure out why/where the ellipse is coming from. Tagging the compressors messes up since it ends up pointing to not the model.
Any clue on what may be going on or any way to fix the issue?
