Ortho annotation alignment

Can anyone explain why my ortho annotations are not aligned with my piping?

I fiddled around a bit with the annotations:

• Changed to Mtext
• Added background mask
• Added leader
• Set layers and colors

And now the annotations aren't lining up with the piping

red marked annotations should be vertically aligned with the pipes

I checked the symbol settings and tried options "aligned" and "orthogonal", but no joy. Annotations keep being placed horizontally.

When set to "forced vertical" they do go vertical, but then all my dimensions go vertically, which is also not wanted.

Anyone any idea what's going on here?

Hi @m.bevers,

I reproduced the issue in the project that you sent to me for one of your other question.

It seems that there is something in your ortho template that is doing this. I spent a long time testing it but could not pinpoint the cause.

To workaround it, I copied your drawing border into a standard ortho template and saved it to your project. The ortho annotations then align as expected.
