Off-Page Connector Wrap/Text Alignment Issues

Hello everyone,

We are having an issue with PIP Off-Page Connectors (OPC) that we cannot seem to resolve.  I am not incredibly P3D/CAD savvy, so I apologize now for my rudimentary terminology.

I have edited the block in order to wrap text by setting the Boundary Width to the width of the OPC; this works perfectly as long as the OPC is pointing right, I assume because the text is top-left justified (to the "flat" side of the arrow) based on the block which points right in the editor.

When the OPC is pointing left, the text still wraps based on the boundary width, but the location of the text shifts from the start point as if the text is not wrapped.  It still starts out justified correctly (justified right in this case because the block is reversed) and only once it exceeds the boundary width and wraps does this really become a problem.  See attachment which shows a correct and incorrect example.

The block itself knows to mirror based on a flow direction of a pipe, but I cannot figure out how to get the text to realize this as well.  I'm a little weary of creating a new "left-facing" block for the OPC with text right-justified in case it breaks the ability to link the OPCs.  I tried to top-center justify and center the item within the block, but for some reason it still does not actually center.

Does anyone have ideas for a solution for this?

Thank you!

Based on the overwhelming response, I assume the answer is that I'm out of luck?

Is there a way to get rid of it?

Technically, if you want to delete it and put in dummy text, then yes there is what I would consider an unacceptable solution.  I am going to try to create a new object in the project and mirror the existing to see what happens.  We would then need to use a "left" and "right" facing OPC, which is also an unacceptable solution for a project that already has existing drawings.  At this point, I am fairly convinced it is a P3D problem.

Do we have any acceptable solution in this case. I'm getting frustrated with this error.

This is an typically an issue with text that is not center justified.  Whatever operation P3D performs when it detects the opposite flow direction throws the text off by the width of the OPC symbol give or take.  The only valid workaround is to create separate connectors for the right and left side of the page with the justification set accordingly.  Other than that you have to keep things center justified and they will behave better.

Thanks, I tried making it centered justification. It worked but not looking good.
So, i created two to three single line attributes in the OPC, this will flip according to the line flow direction.
If I don't want those extra attribute line, we can give a space in the property panel.
