Nozzle Tag Format

Hi Everyone,

Am trying to create a alphabetical tag format for nozzles for a clinets project ( client wants nozzles labeled as A, B, C etc). I have created a tag property called "Nozzle_Tag"("string" property type, "none" for acquisition & only "Visible in object view" box checked). Have also created a Tag format "Nozzle Tag (Letter)",(Field is "TargetObject.Nozzle_Tag[]" and the expression is set to"No Expression". I have set the "TagFormatName" to "Nozzle Tag (Letter)". The problem I am having is that the tag property won't populate in the PLANTNOZZLEADD dialogue box and I only get a "?" in the "Nozzle" selection drop down.

What step have I missed, probably something really simple (must admit am rusty with this as I haven't had to do this in a while).

Any help would be appreciated.

Refer to attachments & description in first post,

Captures 1, 2 & 3 show how I have set up the tag format. Capture 4 is the result after I gave it the letter A as the tag designstion.

(Capture 4 is next post only let me add 3 attacments this post)

Hi @StaniforthR,

so can not work with the tag and nozzle!
Plant 3D specifies which data should be used!
When marking it is the value "TAG" everything works only with "TAG"
Your newly created value is ignored by the system!
Create a new "TAG format"
I use the "Type" value for the Nozzles label.

And so my result looks with alphabetical marking of the nozzles

Hi @h_eger

Does not work. Have you tried to add a second nozzle with your format? Thanks for your help but have opened an enterprise help desk case and will deal directly with them.
