Hi ALL Experts,

Problem : Missing Bolt Set on custom Blind Disk.

This what I've done:

  1. Create a python script and loaded to Plant 3D, (arxload "PnP3dACPAdapter") (testacpscript "SpadeBlind")
  2. Create catalog new component and use the newly created custom python component
  3. Add the new custom component to a spec.
  4. test model, it seems to connect but missing bolt set.

I appreciate if someone can share some ideas on how to solve this problem.

I found out the the Custom Blind Disk Catalog. The cause of the problem was bolt set catalog.

Scenario 1:

Using "BOLT SET M" from ASME Add-on Pipes & Fittings Catalog - Metric

  • when placing the custom blind disk, gasket was added but no bolt set
  • when placing just a pair of flange, gasket and bolt set was added
  • using this BOLT SET M catalog, bolt length were shown as per standard Bolt Length Mapping

Scenario 2:

Using "BOLT SET" from out the box ASME Pipes & Fittings Catalog

  • when placing the custom blind disk, gasket and bolt set was added
  • when placing just a pair of flange, gasket and bolt set was added
  • using this BOLT SET catalog, bolt length were not shown as per standard Bolt Length Mapping even the Bolt Compatible Standard was specified

Hoping that someone can help.

Dear @Anonymous ,

this is a bug in the gasket configuration.
ENDTYPE1 and ENDTYPE2 must be UNDEFINED_ET.
