Mapping Inline Instrument with Plug - Validation error

Hi All,

I have problems in mapping inline instuments as Plug in 3D. We have buy a 3D spec where the instruments are created as Plug. Mine goal is to mapping inline instruments with plug to make them selectable in P&ID Line list.

Follows the settings for an example Flow indicator:

P&ID Class definition:

1.JPG

P&ID Object Mapping:

2.JPG

Plug setting:

3.JPG

In this way the instrument is selectable from the P&ID Line list, but when i make the validate, plant says that the element doesn't exist in 3D.

Hi @Anonymous,

your inline instruments do not work as a plug!
Inline instruments should be configured as an inline instrument in the PuID afterwards the mapping in Plant 3D also works (starting from P3D 2018)

Thanks @h_eger,

What do you mean with "Inline instruments should be configured as an inline instrument in the PuID"?

Hi @Anonymous,

this configuration is not supported by Plant PuID and Plant 3D!
