Layer and Color Settings

Hello Guys,

In the Project Set up, I am setting the color assignment by MPL (like an Area) instead of by Service (which is the usual way) to a certain color required by the client, so as to change the color for piping only in the model. 

After these changes, the color assigned by MPL did not carry out but only for a few, even the line or piping have the same line number as you can see below snip.

Is there an additional setting that needs to be done in project set up or can be done in xml file?

unfortunately, this is a shortcoming of the layer colour assignment in the Plant 3D project setup.
If you make changes, you have to create the assignment from scratch, there is no way to make changes to an existing colour assignment.

Hi @h_eger 

It is working actually but it takes some time for a bigger file, compare to a smaller one which instantly updated.

Maybe because we are working under Autodesk Construction Cloud compared to a local server.
