Issues with Creating Orthos

Below are some screenshots of the issues I am seeing with creating Ortho views. Sometimes elbows and flanges are missing when I create orthos. This issue I was seeing with Plant 3d 2016. I am using Plant 3d 2017 now and still seeing this isusse, but when I go to the model and repace the missing items using a different spec It shows up when I update the view, this did not work in plant 3d 2016. Another issue I am seeing now that I did not see in plant 3d 2016 is items that are in the background of the view that I am creating are showing up in the ortho views even though they are not inside the ortho cube I created for the view I am wanting. I have down loaded the lastest Hotfixes for Plant 3d 2017, but there is no change. I have tried un burring the project path so that its not filed so deep on our server and I still see these issues. I have created a new project directly onto my desktop coping the setting of the existing project and still see these issues.

The Ortho views not clipping in front and left views is a bug in 2017, the workaround is to use Add Jog.

The work around worked. That takes care of unwanted background items showing up in the views for now, but ramdom elbows are still missing. Before using the work around solution I had to use a different spec to repace the elbows for them to show up in the view when I update it. Now with using Add Jog as the work around for manipulating the ortho cube to clip correctly I am able to replace the elbow using the same spec they were originally brought in from. Any Ideas of what may be going on with missing items? I have tried several ways to correct this issue. I am thinking it may be a lost cause for this project and that the project may have gotten corrupt at some point. I have been able to create small test projects and have no issues.
