Isometric Dimensions - Base Pipe Support

How do I get the base pipe support dimension to appear on the isometric?  Screenshot shows base support (dummy leg) and we need to have this dimension.

Hi @Zhars,

It is not possible to show the length of the support as a dimension in the iso drawing.

You could workaround this by tagging the support with the length information and updating the isoconfig.xml so that the support tag is shown:

<ComponentScheme Name="SupportTag" AnnotationStyle="Standard" Enabled="true" Grouping="false" Tag="XX" Alignment="SkewAligned" LeaderStyle="Always" Filter="Support" Fields="TAG" />

I know this isn't a perfect solution but I hope it helps.

Thanks Dan for the quick reply.  I appreciate the workaround but this looks like an oversight.

We will need to provide an MTO and having the length is essential.  So I'm thinking if it is possible to model the dummy leg using a tap and then a piece of pipe instead.

Also if using the pipe support TAG property, each tag has to be unique so you can not repeat the same dimension twice.  Will need to create a new custom property to make this work.
