Hi @hussan.halabi

Welcome to these forums.

Not automatic but you can add text in a round about way.

You can change the project setup to "use property from model"

Welds.JPG

Then in the model click on your weld and manually change the description adding a number and text as you see fit.weld 2.JPG

It means you have to manually number / identify each weld though.

Hi.  I've tried this technique to enter an Alpha-Numeric Weld number (i.e. WP-001-6") but the Weld Number property on the Connector will only allow me to enter a number.  Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Joe

Hello

Sorry for my English, which I don't speak and whose post has been translated by Google Translate.

You can easily add prefixes or suffixes to your weld numbers on the isometric.
You will find in link a support (French) describing the procedure.

Regarding the "Weld number" property on the 3D weld, it is an Autodesk bug because if we look at the property is of type "String" but in the database the property is of type "Integer".

Bonjour
