ISO Symbol Skew

OK, I'm at a loss here.  I don't know why my ISO symbol will not line up correctly in my drawing.

I've tried to move the Skeymap around the XML file to no avail.  I've tried it in valves, fittings, flanges, etc.

I have it designed in block editor with 2 ports and a CP.  Flow goes from the top of the symbol to the bottom left.  This goes on to a pump.  Is this not correct?

Any help is much appreciated.

Aaron,

What do you have the Iso Symbol Type set to?

Try setting it to VALVE-ANGLE

Gentlemen, thanks for the help.

@h_eger,

Setting as ELBOW, this is the result I get.  It orientates it correctly, but adds flanges in odd spots.

@Dadspackard,

This is what happens when setting it to VALVE-ANGLE.

Even after changing my ports around, I get this result.

Dear @Anonymous,

The previous port information is still stored in your project.
Please clean up the project completely beforehand

Can you please expand on that a little more?  Do I need to purge something from my drawing?
