Is there an easy way to add 550mm size to spec

I am working on a ship that has 550mm pipes, is there an easy way to just change all the parts of a spec to 550, I tried to do all the components I need one by one, but now I get errors when I try to connect them.

According to the images, follow the following steps in the spec editor:

1- Select edit catalog in mm;

2- Enter the length of the pipe in the Fixed Length property;

3- Check the box next to the Use Fixed Length property;

Hi Mariah,

I understand that the ND is 550mm and not the length, right? But connection doesn't work? Note that the connections are set in Project Setup, node "Plant 3D DWG Settings - Piping Connection Settings". All joints need by default the ND as a required match to add for example flanges, bolt set, gaskets, etc. This means that for all other components you will need the size 550 for them as well. So, add the size 550 mm to all components of your spec.

You might note that the size 550 mm isn't listed in the selection list for sizes for new components. You have to adopt before the NominalDiameterMap.csv from program folder (afterwards you have to restart the Spec Editor) to get this size added. Read this article for further information.

Please, let us know if I could help you.

Best regards

Bernd
