I am trying to import 3d model from AutoCAD plant 3d  to Revit without losing the plant3d properties like Line number tag , process line properties etc. Is there any way to do that.

Not that we've found, it's like Plant 3D and Revit don't live in the same world, let alone the same company.  We've tried Plant 3d to revit and revit to plant 3d, it's all not good.  On the plant 3d side you need to export from revit to .dwg and lose everything, same with plant 3d to revit, exporttoautocad.  I'm thinking if there was a way to export the data from the plant 3d database and identify each item in the exported .dwg through revit and associate the data... maybe you could do something.  Our "solution" is that in each other it's essentially a way to not clash, the data part is through navisworks -> datatools -> plant 3d sql server -> navisworks for a confirmation of data, it isn't great.

Since all of our workflows vary, may I ask why you want/need all of the Plant 3D properties in Revit?  I'm always curious about the different ways the two are being used.

Actually we are trying to cut pipe lengths based on piping model using a 3rd software which has a plug-in which supports Revit . we use plant 3d to do piping models but it does support the plug-in. that's why I am looking for a way to import 3d model to Revit without losing its intelligent properties.
