How to insert new spec to existing project in modeling ?

Dear All,

I have created a spec.  Now I am trying to insert on my existing project but I can do it only for new project and not on existing project.

Please let me know the procedure to insert on existing project.

Please provide the information since I am running short of time.

Anticipating your valuable response

Thanks.

Just copy the Spec to the folder that you've specified in the project properties

Thanks for your quick reply,

The below is project location and I have checked in it.  But I cannot find spec file that I used in modelling.

Let me know if I am looking in correct path or not ?

Also please brief me on this to have clear understanding.

\\xxxxxxxx\projects\18520-xxxxx\WORKING\SARSIVIRAMAN\AutoCAD Plant 3D\Project\Sample\Spec Sheets

Thank you

Copy the spec into that folder and restart Plant3D if you're already in it when you copy it. Then it'll appear.

If it dosn't appear after copying and closing P3D the reopening - righ click mouse to add spec at this location and select add spec - locate path - then it comes in  spec.JPG

I have a question I have created a new spec. and all is well except that my component size selection dosn't not come in - yet if I place it into an existing spec it will work. please help.
