We're experiencing an issue with our iso configuration where annotations and dimensions are being placed / oriented poorly. We have callouts sitting directly on top of their corresponding component graphics, dimensions overlapping with iso graphics, and other issues (see image). A few things key we'd like to amend/address are listed below. There will likely be more refinements needed once these initial ones are sorted out but it would be great to resolve these ones as a start.
- Make annotations come in appropriately distanced from associated drawing graphics and add leaders.
- Center dimension text on vertical dimensions.
- Place dimensions sufficiently distanced from graphics to avoid overlap between dim. lines and piping/component graphics.
- Set continuation callouts to identify connected equipment only (exclude nozzle ID and rating).
- The two 10'3" dimensions at the bottom are oddly oriented.
We're basically just looking to amend our IsoConfig.xml as needed to improve drawing legibility and general appearance. I understand that there are variables like bumper distance, etc. that can be adjusted to change how annotations behave but am not 100% on which to modify and with what values to achieve a more conventional isometric appearance.
I've attached a copy of our IsoConfig.xml for reference. If anyone can provide input on which variables need to be adjusted, and appropriate values to populate, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
