I am trying to use a geo location area set using a .kmz file. I saved a location after including a place marker for a start point 0,0. But Plant 3D does not pick the location from the .kmz file. It just goes to the center of the globe location. Is there a way I can get this to work. Please help.

The "Address" part of the geolocation is the actual physical address of where you want the site to be, not 0,0

Ok. That is the geographic lat long location? Will Plant 3D be able to read from a .kmz file and infer the location from it?

The 0,0 X-Y is the origin for the 3D model origin.

I managed to reference a geo location and scaled the resulting dwg to m. wanted to use map as a base to model a 3D pipe route. Something goes wrong with the scaling of the 3D model. Can you please have a look at the shared model file, through this post.

That box is for the physical address at the site, or near the site to help you find it. So you put in there "1234 Something Road, Something City"

That only works for the US.
I am able to type in something close and make the map navigate towards it.

The .kmz has exact coordinates. Plant 3D 2026 reads the data but is not
able to infer the content. I am in the UAE. Plant 3D takes me to West
Africa.

You'd have to manually locate the site you want to use then and adjust the scaling of it to suit your P3D Project

I did that. But it seems there are 2 sets of scales. One for the map and
the other for the modelled pipe. Not able match them. Don't know where that
setting is.

Is there a way I may be able to match them. Please have a look: Project4
This Youtube video on maps in AutoCad @5:45 shows the method of selection of a focused area of the inserted map and allows the switching off of the rest. Why is the area selection dimmed for the same context on Plant 3D?
