When importing a component using the "Import inventor component" tool (.adsk), following error pops up (attached). Does anyone know how to fix this?
Inventor 2023, AutoCAD plant 3D 2024, windows 10 pro.

Dear @lpudysz ,

1. which component should be your ADSK file?
2. i have reworked it in Inventor 2023 and exported it as ADSK. it works for me.
3. i think you made a mistake when creating the ADSK file.

"1. which component should be..." - i don't understand this question.

Can you share the file you created? I will check on which side the problem is: Inventor or AutoCAD Plant 3D

I think the problem is neither with Inventor nor with Plant 3D.
It is probably due to the application of the two Autodesk products.😉

The "Part_to_import_01" file you generated, I can readily import in Autocad Plant3D. So why does the error pop up when importing my file? What am I doing wrong? Or should I do an update of Inventor to version 2024? I have no idea...

I am a beginner AC Plant3D user open to criticism  🙂

I had already seen several videos of this type before I turned to this forum for help. I usually try to solve problems on my own.

I did everything as in the video you shared. No result. See my video (attached)

Dear Autodesk Users!

Autodesk solved the problem. The root cause of the problem was the decimal separator in Windows. After changing from a comma to a dot, everything works fine. I can import .ADSK files into ADPlant3D.
