Equipment information on the project has disappeared

Hi Everyone ,

Today while i was work on a project ,i realized that equipment information was lost.

When click Properties, don't have equipment and nozzle information (Tag Numbers & NozzleNumber).And all connetion point broken for this tank.

I have to create a new equipment(Tank ) to solve the problem.

What could have happened?

Is there a way to solve this problem? Otherwise everything needs to be done again.

Hi @lokman.aktas,

The first thing to try is closing the project and clearing the local data cache.

Once you have done that, reopen the project and check the equipment again.

Please let me know if this helps.

Sorry for late replay.

Equipment information lost

Yesterday i got same problem with another older project.

When i want to revise a line i aware that all equipment information lost.

This is a big problem. If i can not solve this problem, have to recreate all equipments and nozzles information.

As you said before, i already cleared the local data cache. But nothing changed.

I have the same problem.

I lost information from 4 reactors with our nozzle information.

this is a big problem. hours of work lost.

Autodesk has any information or solution about this?

we are have in 2019 year. this problem is from 2017.

Hi,

After to do many test, for to search what happen, I thinks that i found the solution.

What happen with this information for equipment elements?

The problem is the TAG. if your tag is make without Delimiter and make a equipment. (see attach image )

When you put any nozzle or modify you equipment with menu option, Plant3D delete the information of equipment (in my case, Area, Number, Type and EquipPrincipal fields) if your follow the steps that @lokman.aktas explain.

When i change the Tag Format (i add the delimiter), the problem is go out.

When you have many equipment and many models (dwg) is a big problem, because Plant3D don't regen the TAG automatically, and you have to doing one by one. 

Autodesk we need a tools for regen a Tag format when we change, please!!!!!!
