- I wouldn't be modelling cable. Just the raceway/ladders then get the MTO and do some sums for cable.
- AutoCAD Electrical only does the schematics, no 3D. Inventor does the 3D Electrical side of things, but I wouldn't recommend it for a Plant Project.
- You can theoretically model anything you want in Plant3D, you just have to decide which class it will be done in (Equipment, Piping, Instrumentation etc) and whether or not the time taken to make the elements and model them is worth it.
